The last activity which the year 6 team had during the first term was to prepare for this year’s Christmas experience. This year we thought of organising something different and together we came up with the idea of organising the baby Jesus procession around the school. We wanted this procession to be symbolic, so we thought of explaining how the first procession, which was founded by St. George Preca, actually started through street theatre. We had three stops and during these stops we had a short play, a Christmas song and some prayers to help us reflect about the true meaning of Christmas. The songs were sung by a group of boys who together formed a choir accompanied by two students who played the saxophone and clarinet. During the closure part, another group of students animated the last song through blacklight. The boys enjoyed this new experience and co-operated to make this year’s Christmas experience a successful one!
