Seminary Staff

Participating in a student mobility is an excellent way to strengthen the bonds with our students; participating in a job-shadowing and training opportunity is very profitable, especially for the opportunity to learn from the good practices of foreign teachers and educators and to share ours with them.

During the job-shadowing experience, participants visit a host organisation in another country to learn about its education system, to observe good practices, to watch lessons, and to explore new tools and methods. They also interact with their peers and learn about their daily work.

The School will inform the staff about the possibility of a mobility and if interested, staff members will be asked to fill-in an online application. Educators attending a job-shadowing experience in a foreign school will be asked to write-up and sign a Learning Agreement in which all the tasks and outcomes of the visit will be clearly outlined.

It is important that after the mobility, a copy of the ‘Certificate of Attendance’ and the ‘Erasmus+ Staff Report’ are emailed to the Erasmus+ school coordinator. The participant must also fill in the EU Survey which is emailed to you by the Erasmus+ Beneficiary Module the day after your mobility ends. Failure to complete this online survey will jeopardise the whole accreditation process.

All costs in a job-shadowing/training visit are covered by EU Funds. In order to benefit from this financial assistance, participants in a mobility program are required to provide the school coordinator with the original receipts for all the expenses incurred during the mobility. All receipts must also be scanned and emailed to the Erasmus+ coordinator by no later than a week after the mobility.
