Malta Robotics Olympiad – One of our team places 4th

The Archbishop’s Seminary took part in the Malta Robotics Olympiad Lego Sumo Competition on Friday 24th March 2017. The school entered two teams made up of Year 10 students. Each team had to design, build and program their Lego robot from scratch.

The first team, Exotic Butters, made up from Noah, Craig and Seth were unluckily knocked out in the initial stages. The second team, System Overload, made up of Ryan, Daniel, Matthew and Matteo made it through to the semi-finals. Unfortunately, they lost 2-1.

They then competed for third place. However they lost this match and wound up in 4th place. Well done to both teams for their hard work and dedication! Congratulations to System Overload for placing 4th out of 33 teams in the Malta National Qualifiers!
