Fifteen students from year 9 to year 11 started this year with a special trip to Germany. This time we stayed in Munich and explored the capital city of Bayern. We visited the BMW Welt and museum, the Allianz Arena and the Olympia Park, Schloss Nymphenburg, Germany’s largest science and technology museum, the aquarium and the Hellabrunn zoo in Munich.
We also went on a trip to the nearby UNESCO heritage city of Regensburg and visited the main landmarks there.
Besides having fun while touring the cities and speaking in German, the students were also able to practise life skills , such as buying things in German, meeting new people from Germany, making new friends, managing their time, asking for information, learning about the local culture and finding their way in the city. School trips help to build confidence and develop the student, and they also give the student an unforgettable experience!
