The prize is a large smart water station costing over 12,000 euro, sponsored by HSBC, that filters through reverse osmosis and improves the taste of tap water, making it suitable for drinking.

Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=20&v=yHovfaDG7iY

The station is also remotely monitored by the manufacturer to ensure continuous safe supply of water. If we accept the prize, HSBC will install and maintain the station during the first year of use. Following that year, maintenance costs will have to be paid by the Seminary. The station is large enough to provide potable water for all of the Seminary’s needs, including hospitality and use by school staff and students. It can also reduce disposable plastic water bottle use.

Committees

Like last year, the EkoSkola committees are meeting once every week in the Secondary section and once every fortnight during the students’ breaks.
