Although students can enjoy a\nnumber of online games, some of them do not encourage movement at all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"506\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/3_censored-506x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2153\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/3_censored-506x1024.jpg 506w, https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/3_censored-148x300.jpg 148w, https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/3_censored-133x270.jpg 133w, https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/3_censored.jpg 608w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 506px) 100vw, 506px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the topics in Social Studies is identifying traditional Maltese\ngames.&nbsp; The students in our year group researched\ntraditional Maltese games which were popular in the past. Some of the games\nthey researched are <em>Passju <\/em>&#8211; (Hopscotch),\n<em>Noli<\/em> -(Hide and Seek), <em>Il-Bombos<\/em> \u2013 (Leap Frog), <em>Bo\u010b\u010bi tal-\u0126\u0121ie\u0121<\/em>&#8211; marbles, it-<em>Tajra tal-Karti<\/em>&#8211; the kite, <em>il-Qbi\u017c tal-\u0126abel<\/em>-the skipping rope.&nbsp; The students created short videos explaining one&nbsp; traditonal Maltese game of their choice and also\nshowed how the game is played. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"461\" src=\"https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2_censored-1024x461.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2152\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2_censored-1024x461.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2_censored-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2_censored-768x346.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2_censored-360x162.jpg 360w, https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/2_censored.jpg 1379w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This activity helped the students understand the importance of play and\ngames.
