{"id":313,"date":"2017-02-28T12:06:27","date_gmt":"2017-02-28T12:06:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/wp\/?page_id=313"},"modified":"2023-11-21T11:12:41","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T10:12:41","slug":"ecdl-european-computer-driving-license-test-centre","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.maltaseminary.org\/?page_id=313","title":{"rendered":"ICDL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ICDL &#8211; <em>International Certification of Digital Literacy<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Archbishop&#8217;s Seminary is an accredited ICDL Centre (formerly known as ECDL) and therefore can officially hold ICDL courses, and hold official ICDL tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ECDL is the name that was given to the ICDL Certification programme in Europe, however, in 2020 the name was updated to become known as ICDL globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ICDL which stands for International Certification of Digital Literacy, is the new name for the ECDL programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our students have the chance to choose to take <strong><em>ICDL Workforce (MQF3)<\/em><\/strong> during school hours<strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong>  ICDL Workforce is designed to build the digital skills of the modern workplace. These modules will help employees and candidates demonstrate their effective use of technology with skills and knowledge that can be further developed by progressing to the ICDL Professional modules and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ICDL Workforce is a test of practical skills and competencies and consists of seven (7) separate modules covering computer theory and practice. To achieve the ICDL Workforce certificate, the Candidate must successfully pass a test in seven (7) modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ICDL Workforce consists of 5 compulsory modules and 2 elective modules.
