Life Force Activity in our School

On Friday 2nd May, 2008, a group of young people from the Life Force came to talk to the Form 3 students about addictions. They told us that when we hear the word addiction, drugs and alcohol come to our mind but addiction is much more than that. Addiction can also occur with smoking, games and gambling. They informed us that addictions can ruin health, reputation and self-esteem.

The group role-played several situations to explain different addictions and their consequences. We also played games and discussed the different situations. Some games which we acted out were similar to ‘Telephone’ and ‘Rock’ ‘Paper’ and ‘Scissors’ . The objects for the latter game were however changed to gun, man and monster.
