Football Summer Club

Summer might have been boring for others but definitely not for me !! I was always waiting for Tuesdays and Thursdays because those were the days when I attended the “Football Summer Club”.

Our coaches Mr Justin Mercieca, Mr Silvan Ciscaldi and Mr Sheldon Grech were incredible with us. They are  professionals in football. We were given a T-shirt, which we had to wear for each training session, a football and a gift voucher.

We always started with some warming-up exercises; then we  proceeded to the main training session. The training was great fun because it was like training through thematic games and finally we were allowed to play a match. At the the end of the traininig course we visited the St.Aloysius’ grounds and there we had a football match with those attending the club in different teams.

I suggest that all studentsshould consider attending this summer club because it is a healthy way of spending the holidays along with school mates.
